INDIANOIL PETRONAS PRIVATE LIMITED (IPPL) is a joint venture company promoted by two FORTUNE 500® oil majors, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, India and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), Malaysia. The Joint Venture came into existence in August 1997 with 50:50 equity participation by both the promoting companies and was incorporated on 3rd December 1998 by formation of a Private Limited Company, under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

IPPL handles around 33% of the total LPG import of the country from its two state-of-the- art LPG Import/Export Terminals at Haldia, West Bengal and Ennore, Tamil Nadu and cater to the LPG demand of eastern part of the country through its Bottling plant at Haldia.

IPPL is a leading parallel marketer of Propane, Butane and LPG in India, providing international standards product in various mixes to meet the requirements of the customers. The company also has presence in the Commercial Packed LPG Business with its portfolio of 17 kgs, 21 kgs, 33 kgs and 425 kgs cylinders and having its distributor network in Eastern and Southern region. We also own and operate Auto LPG Dispensing Stations in the southern and eastern part of country.
