Auto LPG – a mixture of Propane and Butane, used in the Automobile sector as an alternate fuel to Petrol and Diesel. It is widely used as a green fuel and offers significant cost savings over Petrol and Diesel. It is used in over 100 countries around the globe and is a practical solution to the constantly increasing pollution on Indian roads. IPPL has been granted approval by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas to manufacture Auto Grade LPG (IS 14861) in November 2004. IPPL is also having network of 54 Auto LPG Dispensing Stations (ALDS) spread over Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and West Bengal from which more than 2000 MT of Auto LPG is sold to three/four wheelers and thereby contributing to reduction of environment pollution in these geographical areas.
